BlastOff sandblasted the pool shell back to a clean, uniform substrate, stripping away the lifting and discoloured paint so the new lining had a sound surface to bond to. IBIX Polyfusion was then applied by thermal fusion, with the polymer membrane bonding directly to the shell as a continuous layer. This fused approach was selected for the combination of waterproofing, chemical resistance and long-lasting colour it offers over a conventional repaint.
The Te Wharau Drive pool returned to service with a continuous Polyfusion lining installed as one fused coating system, replacing the lifting and discoloured paint that had affected the shell. The renovation gives Precision Pools a waterproof, chemical-resistant finish delivered through a single coordinated sandblasting and coating scope rather than a conventional repaint.
